The Grizzlies pulled into a flat-footed tie for first place in the North division and best record in Low-A West at 36-20. Daniel Montano extended his hitting streak to 16 games with his 4th homer  of the year, a 2-run shot. Zac Veen‘s RBI single in the top  of the 10th proved to be the game winner. San Jose’s Jairo Pomares went 4-for-4 with a double and a home run.

The Quakes put up  16 runs and 14 hits, including three homers, and four pitchers held Lake Elsinore to three runs on six hits. Eddys Leonard, Alex De Jesus and Jake Vogel all homered and Jorbit Vivas went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

The Nuts won for the 10th time in a row and stayed two games back of first place in the North division. Robert Perez hit a three-run homer and four Modesto pitchers allowed just one run in eight innings of relief.
