NUTS STRIKE EARLY IN WIN OVER RAWHIDE

The Modesto Nuts stayed hot Friday night and got six runs in the first two innings to cruise to an 8-1 win over the Rawhide in Visalia. The visitors got three in the first and three in the second and went on to win their sixth game in a row including all four in this series.

RHP Enmanuel Acosta came on in relief of Del Moral and gave up a 2-run homer to Rodriguez to put the Nuts ahead 8-0.
