QUAKES OUTSLUG 66ERS IN 10

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes rallied for two runs in the 10th inning to knock off Inland Empire by a score of 16-14 on Wednesday night at San Manuel Stadium. Jake Vogel singled in the go-ahead run, his fourth hit of the game, and Nick Biddison added on the 16th run with his fifth hit of the night.

Vogel was 4-for-6 with a walk, a double, four RBIs and three runs scored. Biddison was 5-for-6 with two doubles, a triple, four RBIs and three runs scored.

An already wild game saw Rancho score seven runs in the fifth inning to pull ahead by a score of 11-9. The 66ers tied it up in the bottom of the ninth with two runs to make it 14-14.

With the win, the Quakes (29-27) remain five games out of first place in the South division. The 66ers have the top spot at 34-22.
