The Visalia Rawhide came up in the top of the sixth inning trailing 6-1 at Rancho Cucamonga Friday night. They sent 15 men to the plate and scored 11 runs and went on to win 13-10.
Deyvison De Los Santos had 3 hits and SP Chen was 2-4 with a double and a walk and drove in four runs. Visalia had 12 hits and drew 10 walks.
Luis Rodriguez was 3-4 and hit his 4th home run of the season for the Quakes. They also got homers from Damon Keith (5), Yeiner Fernandez (2) and Julio Carrion (3).
Visalia’s second straight win evened the series at 2-2 with game five on Saturday night at 6:30.
GRIZZLIES WIN ON GOODMAN’S WALK-OFF HOMER
The Stockton Ports took a 5-4 lead to the bottom of the 9th in Fresno Friday night, but Hunter Goodman ended the game in dramatic fashion with a two-run homer to give the Grizzlies a 6-5 win.
All five Stockton runs came against Fresno starter Brayan Castillo, but only two were earned. Three of Fresno’s four errors on the night came in a three-run fourth inning that gave the Ports a 5-3 lead.
Castillo went five innings and gave up four hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Ever Moya pitched a scoreless sixth inning with one hit allowed, no walks and one strikeout. Sergio Sanchez (W, 3-0) held the Ports scoreless over the last three innings on one hit, one walk and four strikeouts.
Adael Amador had three hits and a walk for Fresno.
The Grizzlies have won three of the first four games of the series. Game five goes Saturday night at 6:50PM.
SALVADOR GOES 6 STRONG INNINGS IN INLAND EMPIRE’S 7-1 WIN OVER STORM
Jose Salvador gave up a run on five hits and no walks with nine strikeouts and Arol Vera had two hits and knocked in two runs for Inland Empire in a 7-1 win over Lake Elsinore Friday night.
Salvador (W, 2-4) got the win while Kelvin Caceres pitched three scoreless innings in relief to earn his first save. Caceres struck out five with no hits or walks allowed.
Edgar Quero had a two-run single in the second inning for the 66ers. Charlis Aquino had two of Lake Elsinore’s five hits.
Lake Elsinore has won two of the first three games in the series, with one game postponed. Game four is Saturday night at 5:05 with a double-header scheduled for Sunday.
SAN JOSE POSTS FIVE LATE RUNS FOR 10-6 WIN OVER MODESTO
The San Jose Giants rallied for three runs in the eighth inning and two more in the ninth to pick up a 10-6 win over the Modesto Nuts on Friday night. The game was tied 5-5 going to the top of the eighth.
San Jose had 17 hits on the night with Garrett Frechette leading the way with three hits including a triple. Every Giant had at least one hit and seven different batters had at least two hits. Aeverson Arteaga had two hits, including his sixth home run of the season.
Landen Roupp (W, 3-1) pitched three scoreless innings in relief, allowing no hits or walks while striking out seven.
Robert Perez blasted his league-leading 15th home run for Modesto. Edwin Arroyo hit his 9th, a three-run shot.
The teams have split the first four games of the series. Game five goes Saturday night at 6:05.
