MiLB.com has named Stockton’s Lazaro Armenteros Player of the Week and Lake Elsinore’s RHP Felix Minjares Pitcher of the Week.
LAZARO ARMENTEROS – Stockton’s OF/DH went 11-for-17 against Rancho Cucamonga with four doublles and a home run. Before being called up to High-A Lansing, Armenteros batted .431/.471/.615. Armenteros is Oakland’s #19 prospect.
FELIX MINJARES – Lake Elsinore’s Minjares appeared twice against San Jose and threw 6 2/3 innings allowing just one hit and no walks with 6 Ks.
