It’s all zeroes in the standings today. That will change tonight as the second half gets underway with four-game sets running through the weekend.
MODESTO at SAN JOSE 7:00PM
RANCHO CUCAMONGA at LAKE ELSINORE 7:00PM
STOCKTON at INLAND EMPIRE 7:05PM
VISALIA at HIGH DESERT 7:05PM
LANCASTER at BAKERSFIELD 7:45PM
The Rawhide was a runaway winner of the North division in the first half while Rancho Cucamonga went down to the last weekend to claim the South division title. First-half champions skip the first round of the playoffs and go right to the division finals. Visalia has seen a lot of roster movement, as you would expect in a first-half powerhouse. But everybody’s back in business tonight with a chance to get into the playoffs, either by winning a division title, or as a wildcard with the best overall record among teams who didn’t win a division title.
