In the South division, Rancho Cucamonga is the only team over .500 at 19-16 and the Quakes hold a 2 1/2 game lead over Lake Elsinore who stand at 17-19.

Modesto looks to gain ground in the North division with the head-to-head series at home with San Jose. The Nuts lost four of six to Fresno last week while San Jose was winning five of six from Stockton.
Rancho Cucamonga just split with Lake Elsinore last week while Inland Empire did the same in Visalia.
